Diversity
When I first met this group of people, I was impressed by their warmth, sincerity and passion for life. As I came to know them better, I realized the extent to which they contribute to our community. Many of them are enthusiastic artists, spending much of their time pursuing creative outlets. As one with an interest in portraits, I recognized in their rich and open characters, the ultimate subjects. I spent time sitting with each of them, to get an initial sketch and impression. This was the most enjoyable part of the project as with each, I left feeling I'd made a new friend and gained respect for that individual. They each hold a valuable place in our community, contributing their service, unique personalities and friendship.
